Who we are
Cards2Score ("we", "us") operates cards2score.com, a website that compares credit cards aimed at people rebuilding their credit. We are not a bank, a lender, or a credit repair organisation, and we do not make lending decisions.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you complete a form on this site we collect your first and last name, email address and phone number.
- Consent records. When you tick a consent box we store the exact wording shown to you, the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user agent. We keep this so we can demonstrate what you agreed to.
- Information stored in your browser. Your saved cards, comparison selections and light/dark preference are kept in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
What we do with it
- To send you the card matches and information you asked for.
- To send recurring marketing text messages, only where you gave express written consent.
- To keep records demonstrating that consent.
- To detect and prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
Text messages
Marketing texts are sent only to people who ticked the consent box. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get help by replying HELP. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your phone number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and where the law requires it.
Advertising relationships
We may be paid a commission when someone is approved for a card featured on this site. That does not change our editorial ratings, and it does not involve passing your form details to the card issuer unless you choose to apply through a link.
How long we keep it
We keep lead and consent records for as long as needed to run our business and to meet record-keeping obligations, then delete them.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop marketing messages.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
- Clear your browser's local storage to remove saved cards and preferences.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
